Site Manager – Social Housing Refurbishment

Location: London & South East
Salary: £50,000 – £65,000 + Car Allowance + Excellent Package

We are recruiting on behalf of a leading refurbishment contractor with a strong reputation across the social housing sector. Due to continued growth and a healthy pipeline of secured work, they are looking to appoint an experienced Site Manager to deliver planned maintenance and refurbishment projects across London and the South East.

The Role

You will take full responsibility for the day-to-day management of social housing refurbishment projects, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to a high standard of quality.

Projects include planned maintenance, internal and external refurbishment, kitchen & bathroom programmes, roofing, window & door replacements, fire safety works and retrofit/decarbonisation schemes across occupied and void properties.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage site operations from start through to completion.

* Coordinate subcontractors, labour and material deliveries.

* Ensure health, safety, quality and programme targets are achieved.

* Carry out site inductions, toolbox talks and daily briefings.

* Liaise with Contracts Managers, Quantity Surveyors, Resident Liaison Officers and client representatives.

* Maintain site records, RAMS, permits and quality documentation.

* Build positive relationships with residents and minimise disruption on occupied projects.

Requirements

* Previous Site Manager experience within social housing refurbishment or planned maintenance.

* Experience managing occupied refurbishment projects.

* Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.

* Good understanding of Health & Safety legislation.

* Full UK Driving Licence.
