MEP Design Manager

Job Title: MEP Design Manager
Location: Loughton (Hybrid Working)
Salary: £80,000 – £85,000 + Package

The Role:

* Lead and manage an in-house team of approximately 10 Design Engineers

* Oversee the design delivery of high-value residential and mixed-use developments across London

* Manage and coordinate MEP design through RIBA Stages 1–5

* Coordinate Mechanical, Electrical and Public Health design across multiple live projects

* Review and coordinate consultant and subcontractor design information

* Ensure designs are coordinated, compliant and buildable

The Company:

* Established MEP Design & Build contractor

* Successfully operating since 2016

* Employs between 40 – 50 people

* Design department has doubled in size over the past 12 months

* Strong pipeline of secured projects across the residential, student accommodation and mixed-use sectors

* Delivering multiple London projects ranging from £7.5m to £25m MEP value

* Hybrid working environment with 2–3 days per week in the office, on site or attending meetings

* Genuine opportunity to progress into the Head of Design position

The Ideal Candidate:

* Previous experience as an MEP Design Manager, Design Lead or Senior MEP Design Engineer

* Previous experience leading and mentoring design teams

* Design & Build contractor background

* Experience delivering residential, student accommodation or mixed-use developments

* Strong understanding of RIBA Stages 1–5
