A specialist cost consultancy in London is seeking an MEP Quantity Surveyor to join its expanding team. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially focused surveyor to work across technically demanding building services packages on a range of high-quality construction projects.

The appointed MEP Quantity Surveyor will support the commercial management of mechanical and electrical works from early estimating and tender stage through to final account. You will work closely with clients, design teams, contractors, and specialist subcontractors, providing clear cost advice and helping ensure that MEP packages are delivered within budget.

This position would suit an MEP Quantity Surveyor with UK consultancy or contractor-side experience who is looking to deepen their technical expertise, gain greater client exposure, and progress within a specialist and supportive environment.

MEP Quantity Surveyor – Key Responsibilities:

Preparing MEP cost plans, estimates, and tender documentation

Reviewing mechanical and electrical contractor submissions

Managing valuations, variations, change control, and final accounts

Producing commercial reports and maintaining accurate cost forecasts

Attending client meetings, design reviews, and site inspections

Providing procurement and cost advice across building services packages

Working closely with project teams to identify and manage commercial risk

MEP Quantity Surveyor – Candidate Requirements:

Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a relevant construction discipline

Previous experience working with mechanical and electrical packages

UK consultancy, contractor, or specialist subcontractor experience

Strong understanding of pre- and post-contract cost management

Confident numerical, reporting, and communication skills

Able to manage workload effectively across multiple projects

MRICS or working towards chartership would be advantageous

In Return:

£50,000-£60,000 per annum
