Setting Out Engineer

Key Responsibilities:
– Accurately set out construction activities, including foundations, drainage, roads, and reinforced concrete structures
– Carry out site surveys, as-builts, and quality checks
– Interpret construction drawings and plans
– Provide technical support to site teams and resolve design-related issues
– Maintain accurate records of work, surveys, and quality checks
– Requirements:
– Civil Engineering or Construction-related degree
– 3+ years of experience in a similar role
– Proficient in using surveying equipment (GPS, Leica/Trimble/Total Station)
– Strong understanding of reinforced concrete structures and construction methods
– Valid CSCS card and UK driving license
– Desirable Skills:
– Experience with AutoCAD and digital platforms (e.g., Fieldview, Viewpoint)
– SMSTS/SSSTS certification
– Excellent communication and teamwork skills
