A respected multidisciplinary property and construction consultancy is looking to appoint a Project Quantity Surveyor to join its established London office. This is an excellent opportunity to work across a broad range of projects, gaining responsibility for delivering cost management services on schemes spanning commercial, residential, education, healthcare, public sector, and mixed-use developments.

The successful Project Quantity Surveyor will play a key role in managing project finances from the earliest planning stages through to completion. Working closely with clients, consultants, and contractors, you will provide commercially sound advice, maintain cost certainty, and ensure projects are delivered efficiently and successfully.

This opportunity is ideal for a Project Quantity Surveyor with consultancy experience who is looking to broaden their project portfolio, strengthen client-facing responsibilities, and continue progressing within a collaborative business that actively supports long-term career development.

Project Quantity Surveyor – Key Responsibilities:

Preparing feasibility studies, budgets, and detailed cost plans

Managing tender processes, procurement advice, and contractor appointments

Administering contracts and monitoring commercial performance throughout delivery

Assessing valuations, variations, and final accounts

Producing cost reports and advising clients on financial and commercial matters

Attending site visits, design meetings, and client presentations

Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary project teams

Project Quantity Surveyor – Candidate Requirements:

Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related construction discipline

Previous experience within a UK consultancy environment

Strong understanding of pre- and post-contract cost management

Familiarity with JCT contracts and common procurement routes

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

MRICS qualified or actively working towards chartership would be advantageous

Ambitious, organised, and capable of managing multiple commissions

In Return:

£50,000-£65,000 per annum

25 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays
