Project Manager

Project Manager Required in Essex

GVR Solutions is currently working alongside a well-established main contractor with a turnover of £6.5m, who focus on Commercial and Industrial Refurbishment projects in Essex valued between £500k – £1m. Due to continuous and positive growth they are in the market for an experienced Project Manager that has a proven background in the Commercial and Industrial market.

As Project Manager, your responsibilities will include:

* Dealing with the full life cycle of the project – from being awarded the job to handover and final account

* Day to day running of a project

* Cost management

* Programme management

* visiting sites and having the confidence to deal with big clients

* Manage the teams on the ground

* Strong leadership to have limited hierarchy with a silent undertone that they do know who’s running the project.

The Project Manager must have/be:

* Professional and presentable, with a driven, proactive approach to work

* Commercially astute

* Experience on Commercial or Industrial projects is advantageous

* An understanding of the programming system Builder Trend

* A high level of quality control

* Excellent understanding of Health & Safety requirements

* Good communication skills as well as the ability to liaise with the client

* Documentation & reporting skills

* SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid
