Join a leading international construction company and play a key role in keeping its purchasing, stock and supply chain operation running smoothly.

We’re looking for an experienced Purchasing Manager to lead a busy purchasing function, manage the team, oversee suppliers and ensure stock and imports are delivered efficiently and on time.

This is a hands-on management role working closely with Sales, Logistics and Product teams, ensuring purchasing strategy, stock levels and supplier performance support the wider business.

The Role

* Lead, manage and develop the Purchasing team

* Oversee purchasing, stock control and import requirements

* Manage supplier relationships, performance and negotiations

* Monitor stock levels, planning and incoming shipments

* Work closely with Logistics to coordinate transport, warehousing and stock movements

* Analyse stock data and produce management reports

* Identify opportunities to improve processes, efficiency and costs

* Ensure ISO/AEO and company procedures are maintained

* Support purchasing strategy and wider business objectives

* Manage workloads, objectives, training and performance across the team

About You

We’re looking for a confident, experienced and personable manager with a background in purchasing, logistics, supply chain or transport.

You’ll be:
