We are currently recruiting for an experienced Structural Lead to join a major hyperscale data centre project in Helsinki / Espoo, Finland.
This is an excellent opportunity to join one of Europe's leading data centre contractors, delivering some of the continent's largest and most technically advanced mission-critical projects. You will lead all structural works across the project, ensuring delivery is achieved safely, on programme, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage all structural works throughout the project lifecycle.
* Develop and manage project budgets, labour resources, commissioning activities, and overall project performance.
* Establish and implement structural project plans, reporting systems, and programme schedules.
* Coordinate closely with clients, consultants, design teams, and project management to ensure successful project delivery.
* Monitor project progress, programme performance, and commercial objectives.
* Promote and maintain the highest standards of Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality (HSEQ) compliance.
* Drive quality assurance across all structural activities to ensure project standards are achieved.
* Lead and coordinate structural subcontractors, suppliers, and engineering teams.
* Identify and resolve technical, programme, and construction challenges.
* Build strong working relationships with clients and key project stakeholders.
* Attend project, engineering, planning, commercial, and handover meetings.
* Support commissioning, snagging, and final project close-out.
Requirements
* Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
* Proven experience in a Structural Lead, Senior Structural Engineer, or similar leadership role within a main contractor environment.
* Experience delivering structural or CSA packages on large-scale construction projects.
* Strong understanding of structural construction methodologies, sequencing, and programme management.
* Excellent leadership, organisational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
* Ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced project environment.
* Data centre, industrial, or mission-critical project experience is highly desirable
