Setting Out Engineer – Bletchley

Location: Bletchley, Milton Keynes

Rate: £250 – £325 per day DOE

Duration: 19th – 28th August 2026

Frontline Construction Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced Setting Out Engineer to provide holiday cover on a High Street redevelopment project in Bletchley, Milton Keynes.

The Role

Setting out and surveying works on a live construction project

Checking levels, lines and coordinates

Working from drawings and specifications

Liaising with the Site Manager and project team

Ensuring works are set out accurately and to specification

Requirements

Previous experience as a Setting Out Engineer / Site Engineer

Strong setting out experience within civil engineering, highways or groundworks

Ability to read and interpret construction drawings

Relevant engineering qualifications/experience

Total Station experience essential

Own Total Station advantageous and will attract the higher rate

£250–£275/day without own equipment | £300–£325/day with own Total Station

Immediate availability for the full period 19th–28th August is required.
