Assistant Contracts Manager
Arcona Group Limited are looking for an Assistant Contracts Manager to work for a Midlands based contractor in the fire protection industry.
This role will be working across projects in the Midlands, North West and Northern Home Counties and will require extensive travel.
The Role
The Assistant Contracts Manager plays a key role in supporting the successful planning, delivery, and completion of passive fire protection projects across a range of sectors.
Working closely with the Operations Manager/Contracts Manager and project teams, the role provides exposure to all stages of the project lifecycle, including pre-construction planning, procurement, commercial support, quality assurance, health and safety compliance, client liaison, and project administration.
The role offers structured, hands-on experience within a growing and highly important sector, with support and mentoring from experienced professionals. It provides a strong foundation for long-term career development
Who would the role suit?
* Someone who is working in the fire industry already and feels their current employer isn't the right home for them or who is working in a different sector but has had a flavour of some of the above duties.Roles as a Trainee/Assistant COnstruction Manager, Contracts Manager, Project Manager or QS would suit.
* Fresh Graduates who have recently finished university with a construction related degree and are eager to land their first job.
* Someone who graduated in the last two years and has some experience in a similar position, potentially in a different sector.
Requirements
* Construction Related Degree
* Genuine passion to grow within the fire protection in and possess the drive, attitude and hunger to deliver projects on time and budget.
* Full UK Driving Licence and Access to a car
* Willing to stay away/overnight for projects if necessary (Expensed by Company)
The Package
My client is offering a broad salary range of £27,500 – £45,000 as the basic salary, the salary will very much depend on experience. A fresh graduate can expect to be at the lower end of the banding.
Package will also include a travel allowance, pension, bonus scheme, training and qualification sponsorship, expenses and more
