A Tier 1 main contractor is looking to strengthen their Design team and is currently looking for an experienced Design Manager to join their growing Southern region.

This is a great opportunity for a Design Manager looking to progress their career within one of the biggest and most established main contractors in the UK.

The business has a strong pipeline of work across Berkshire and the surrounding region, covering a broad mix of sectors and delivering some major schemes.

The Role:

* Working across projects in the Berkshire area

* Based from the company's Theale office with hybrid working available

* Managing the design process from pre-construction through to delivery

* Working closely with project teams, consultants, subcontractors and clients

* Supporting the delivery of major construction projects

* Excellent long-term progression opportunities within a Tier 1 main contractor

The Person:

* Previous main contractor experience is essential

* Experience working as a Design Manager on construction projects

* Strong understanding of the design management process

* Good communication and stakeholder management skills

* Organised and able to manage multiple design packages

* Open to candidates from a range of sectors

Package:

* £55,000 – £70,000 basic salary
