Site Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Site Engineer to provide two weeks' holiday cover on a scheme in Abingdon.

Key Duties

* Setting out piles accurately in accordance with drawings and site control.

* Checking line and level of columns.

* Carrying out general setting out and surveying duties as required.

* Maintaining accurate site records and as-built information.

* Liaising with the Site Manager and subcontractors to resolve any engineering issues.

* Ensuring works are completed in accordance with drawings, specifications and required tolerances.

Requirements

* Proven experience as a Site Engineer on UK construction projects.

* Strong setting-out experience, particularly piling and structural works.

* Competent using total station/surveying equipment.

* Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.

* Valid CSCS card.

* Able to work independently and confidently cover the engineering requirements on site for the two-week period
