Quantity Surveyor – Social Housing

Hygrove Partners are recruiting a Quantity Surveyor on behalf of a leading and fast-growing, modern construction company, working on social housing and new build domestic projects across the West Midlands.

The Role:

Managing the commercial aspects of social housing and new build domestic projects from pre-contract through to final account, ensuring costs are controlled and value is protected throughout.

Key Responsibilities:

– Preparing cost estimates, budgets and valuations across social housing and new build domestic contracts

– Managing subcontractor accounts, variations and final accounts

– Monitoring project costs against budget and reporting to senior management

– Liaising with housing association clients on commercial matters

– Supporting procurement and contract administration

What We're Looking For:

– Degree in Quantity Surveying (or equivalent) preferred

– Proven QS experience within social housing or residential construction

– Strong commercial and negotiation skills

– Valid CSCS card essential

– Own transport essential

– Willing to work from Walsall and surrounding areas
