Business Development Manager – Civils (EV Charging Stations)

We are seeking a highly motivated Business Development Manager with proven experience and established contacts within the civils sector of EV charging infrastructure. This is a strategic role within a forward-thinking contractor that is expanding rapidly in the green energy space.

Role Overview:

As BDM, you will be responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities across the EV charging sector, focusing on civil engineering packages including groundworks, ducting, bases, and associated infrastructure. You'll play a key role in driving growth, building relationships, and expanding market presence.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain relationships with key clients, consultants, local authorities, and developers.

Identify tender opportunities and secure a steady pipeline of civils-focused EV charging projects.

*

Lead bid preparation in collaboration with estimating and operations teams.

*

Attend industry events and actively represent the business within the sector.

*

Provide market intelligence and strategic input to senior leadership.

Requirements:

Minimum 3–5 years' experience in business development within civils or EV charging infrastructure.

Demonstrable network and active contacts within the EV charging or renewable energy civil engineering sector.

*

Strong understanding of civils scope (EV Charging).

*

Commercial awareness with a proven track record in winning work.

*

Full UK/Ireland driving licence.
