Mechanical Site fitters

Multi Skilled Site Fitters required for permanent jobs working mostly across parts of Stansted airport.

We are seeking experienced Multi Skilled Site Fitters to join a busy site-based team working on a wide range of mechanical installation, construction and repair projects mostly in and around the airport. These are hands-on role for a reliable, safety-focused tradespeople who can work independently and as part of a team.

Plenty of hours and premium overtime available.

Key responsibilities

– Carry out installation, assembly and commissioning of site equipment and fittings

– Fabrication, modification and on-site adjustments to metalwork and components

– Perform routine maintenance, repairs and troubleshooting on site

– Read and work from drawings, specifications and work instructions

– Use hand and power tools safely and effectively

– Complete quality checks, documentation and report issues to supervisors

– Maintain good housekeeping and adhere to site safety procedures

Essential requirement

– Valid CSCS card

– Must be able to be security cleared

Desirable

– Previous site fitting or construction experience

– Multi-trade skills (mechanical, fabrication, etc.) advantageous

– Comfortable working at height and in varied site conditions
