Cladding Contracts Manager

Reporting to: Managing Director

Hours of work: 40 hours per week

Location: Bradford office / site as required / hybrid working considered

Salary – £45,000 to £65,000 Depending on Experience

Roofing and cladding projects includes warehouses, retail outlets, offices, manufacturing industry, schools, universities, hospitals and public buildings. They deliver all types of roofing & cladding systems including; industrial cladding, flat roofing, rainscreen cladding, refurbishments and repairs.

Scope and Remit

The Contracts Manager is responsible for the delivery of multiple projects on time, within the budget and to high standards. They will work in close collaboration with the Managing Director, Estimator, QS and Buyer to manage projects from award through to completion. The Contracts Manager will ensure that, from concept to completion, the pre-development and construction process is managed effectively, efficiently and safely.

Responsibilities (not limited):

Pre-construction:

* Attend Estimating Handovers

* Pre-planning of projects to ensure adequate resourcing

* Client liaison

* Appoint designers, review and approve drawings

* Produce RFI schedules;

* Agree prices with subcontract labour

* Produce construction methodologies and tender programmes

* Profit plan review with the QS

* Complete RAMS and submit to the client

Construction:

* Coordinate and manage site labour

* Quality control

* Client liaison

* Ensure Health, Safety and Environmental excellence

* Produce and track construction programmes

* Produce and submit information required schedules

* Coordinate and manage subcontractors

General:

*

* Ensure company policy and procedures are adhered to

* Understand the provisions of all applicable legislation and other stakeholder requirements for SHEQ relevant to the Company’s operations

* Actively engage with management processes

* Maintain strong relationships with Clients

Knowledge, training and experience required

* Knowledge and understanding of Health and Safety and Environmental safety requirements

* Computer literate with good knowledge of the Microsoft Office packages;

* Site Managers Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) preferable

* Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS)

* Asbestos Awareness preferable

* IPAF preferable

* Full clean Driving licence;

* NVQ level 6 or equivalent in construction or a related discipline – preferable but not essential
