Contract Manager Construction – Central London
An experienced Contract Manager with a proven record of delivering prestigious and sizeable construction refurbishment projects is required in a highly-regarded address in Central London.
Starting in early June the project involves the refurbishment of an exclusive Grade 1 listed Georgian building over several levels.
Duties incorporate:
* managing schedules of works, budgets and contracts
* ensuring compliance to the above
* maintaining and developing relationships with the client and other stakeholders
* ensuring that works are delivered in adherence to a high standard
* negotiating and drafting terms of business/contracts
* acting as primary point of contact for client, subcontractors, commercial and site management
* providing clear and effective liaison as above
* agreeing timescales and budgets with the client
* hosting and attending site meetings and regular contact with the client to discuss and implement budget and time-scale arrangements, as required
* development, presentation and implementation of project proposals
* dealing with costs and changes throughout the project and final invoicing
* any other duties commensurate with Contract Manager responsibilities
Applicants must have an established experience of £multi million projects within a heritage/Grade 1 listed environment. First-class communications skills (written and spoken), negotiation ability, tact, flexibility and proven drive are also essential.
Works are scheduled to commence in early June and scheduled for 18-24 months in a highly prestigious London building
