Assistant Quantity Surveyor, Small Works, Exeter

Salary: £30-£40k per annum plus car allowance/vehicle (depending on experience)

Role: My client is a growing regional main contractor who are looking for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to work as part of their established small works team, working alongside a Contracts Manager on projects ranging in value from £2k-£250k in value across Devon, Cornwall and Somerset. Working on commercial projects, MOD bases and government owned buildings. The role is based in Exeter but will involve travelling to site as and when is required.  

Candidate: will have at least two years post education experience working as a junior/assistant Quantity Surveyor. Ideally in small works but could come from consultancy, main contracting or subcontractor background. They will need to be able to demonstrate being able to manage procurement, placing subcontractor orders, CVRs, managing variations and final account works although support will be given under the guidance of a Contracts Manager and Commercial Manager who are already in the business
