Senior Site Manager – £105M Student Accommodation Scheme – Holborn, London
A well-established Tier 2 Main Contractor is seeking an experienced Senior Site Manager to join the team on a landmark £105 million student accommodation project in Holborn, Central London. The scheme will deliver 669 high-quality units across 13 storeys, with construction due to commence in June 2025.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead daily site operations, ensuring the project is delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.
*
Manage and coordinate subcontractors and site teams across all phases of construction.
*
Oversee build quality and ensure all works are carried out in accordance with design, specifications, and current regulations.
*
Chair site meetings, monitor progress, and report to the Project Manager on program, quality, and H&S performance.
*
Ensure compliance with health and safety policies and procedures, promoting a strong safety culture on site.
*
Work closely with commercial and technical teams to resolve issues and maintain project momentum.
*
Drive programme targets while maintaining focus on quality, logistics, and sequencing.
Requirements:
*
Proven experience as a Senior Site Manager on large-scale RC frame, residential, or student accommodation projects.
*
Strong knowledge of construction processes, sequencing, and project planning.
*
Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
*
Ability to manage multiple subcontractor packages and drive site progress effectively.
*
SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certification (essential).
