Site Manager
Our client is seeking an experienced Site Manager to take charge of operations on a small new-build residential development located in the Hertfordshire area. This role requires a proactive and organised individual who can ensure all on-site activities are carried out efficiently, safely, and in line with project specifications.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the site, including coordinating subcontractors, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and maintaining progress in line with the construction programme.
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee all site operations to ensure the smooth delivery of the project.

Manage and coordinate subcontractors and trades on site.
*
Monitor and enforce health and safety standards in accordance with UK regulations.

Maintain accurate site records and reporting
Requirements:
*
Proven experience as a Site Manager on residential construction projects (preferably new-build).
*
First Aid at Work certifications.
*
Strong understanding of UK building regulations and health & safety legislation.
*
Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
*
Ability to manage multiple trades and subcontractors effectively.
Desirable:
*
Experience managing smaller-scale developments (e.g., 5–20 units).
*
Relevant construction-related qualifications such as CSCS or SSSTS
