About the Role

As an Estimator, you will play a key role within the pre-construction team, responsible for producing accurate and competitive tenders on a wide range of high-end fit-out and refurbishment projects in Central London and across the UK. Working closely with the bid, design, and delivery teams, you will assess project documentation, liaise with subcontractors and suppliers, and contribute to the development of pricing strategies that align with the company’s commercial goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare detailed cost estimates and tender submissions for Cat A, Cat B and heavy refurbishment projects

*

Analyse drawings, specifications, and other documentation to prepare comprehensive BoQs

*

Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing

*

Participate in value engineering and risk assessment processes

*

Work closely with the bid and design teams to ensure alignment across all stages of pre-construction

*

Attend site visits and client meetings as required

Requirements

*

Proven experience as an Estimator within the commercial fit-out and/or refurbishment sector

*

Strong understanding of construction methodologies and UK building regulations

*

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications

*

Excellent commercial acumen and negotiation skills

*

Proficient in estimating software and Microsoft Office suite

*

Strong communication and teamwork abilities

*

Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related discipline (preferred
