Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer, Corby – Electro Mechanical
We are seeking a Multi Skilled Engineer for a full-time permanent position on behalf of our client based in Corby.
This position will entail Electrical & Mechanical maintenance on a variety of food production machinery such as fryers, conveyors, weighers & packaging machinery.
The ideal candidate will have an Electrical/Mechanical background, with previous experience of maintaining & servicing machinery.
Specific machinery training/familiarisation shall be provided.
Package: £50k BASIC (Negotiable) + OVERTIME (1.5X & 2X rate) + COMPANY SICK PAY, subsidised canteen.
Schedule: Panama Shift Pattern – 12-hour shifts

Full Job Description
The role will be based within a food manufacturing facility maintaining a variety of food production machinery such as fryers, bagging machinery, weighers, flavour drums and extruders.
About You:
* Qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent and above
* Skilled in both Mechanical and Electrical Engineering
* Continuous experience within a food manufacturing-based industry, FMCG or high speed packaging would be preferred
* A good working knowledge of process and packaging equipment – Experience maintaining fryers would be beneficial, but not essential
* Broad knowledge and experience of electro-mechanical equipment, maintenance and principles
* Demonstrable knowledge of safe-working practices and Continuous Improvement culture
* Proactive and forward-thinking mind-set
* Experience working with HMI & PLC controlled equipment would be advantageous
* Hydraulic and or Pneumatic experience would be advantageous

* Overtime available at x1.5 (any subsequent shift worked in the same rolling 7 day period is paid at x2)
