Quantity Surveyor – Main Contractor – Northampton – Up to £75,000 + Package

Our client is an established main contractor delivering high-quality construction projects across the Midlands and South East. Known for their collaborative culture, structured progression, and commitment to quality, they’re now looking to strengthen their team with an experienced Quantity Surveyor based in or around Northampton.

🔧 Key Responsibilities

*

Full commercial management of construction projects from start to final account

*

Procurement of subcontractors and materials

*

Measurement, valuations, and managing variations

*

Cost reporting and budget control

*

Work closely with Project Managers to support on-site delivery

*

Build strong working relationships with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams

*

Ensure compliance with contracts and minimise risk

💼 Ideal Candidate Will Have:

*

Experience working for a main contractor on build projects

*

A strong understanding of JCT forms of contract

*

Ability to manage projects up to £10m in value

*

Degree qualified or equivalent in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management

*

Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills

*

Highly organised and able to manage multiple projects

💷 Salary & Package:

Up to £75,000 basic salary (depending on experience)
