Estimator – M&E

Mechanical Estimator
We are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Estimator with a background in Building Services Engineering, Mechanical or HVAC.
* 6+ month contract
* £50K-£65K PAYE
* 25 days holiday
* Private medical, pension
* Flexible working hours with early finish Friday, 38 hours week
Previous estimating experience in an M&E contracting or HVAC environment is essential.
The Role
* Working in a team to develop accurate and competitive proposals large, high-value engineered to order industrial solutions.
* Estimating pipework, labour, materials
* Basic design sketches – AutoCAD
* Review tender documents and specifications
* Calculate accurate costings
* Work with internal departments to ensure proposals are accurate, technically suitable
Requirements
* Degree or HNC in Building Services Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
* Ability to produce AutoCAD sketches for spatial design and costing purposes
* Strong knowledge of estimating in an M&E, HVAC
* Previous experience either as a Proposals Engineer, Mechanical Estimator, Tendering Engineer
