£45,000 – £65,000 + Benefits
Construo Recruitment is working in partnership with a well-established construction consultancy that specialises in delivering complex, high-value projects across the healthcare and higher education sectors. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint an experienced Project Manager to join their expanding team based in Manchester.

As Project Manager, you’ll take ownership of multiple schemes from inception through to completion, ensuring they’re delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest quality and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and coordinate the full project lifecycle across healthcare or higher education settings
* Liaise with NHS Trusts, university estates departments, and specialist contractors
* Manage programmes, budgets, risk assessments, and procurement
* Ensure compliance with CDM regulations and healthcare-specific standards (HTMs/HBNs)
* Chair project meetings and maintain clear client communication
* Operate confidently in live, sensitive, or occupied environments
Essential Requirements:
* Proven experience managing projects within healthcare or higher education environments
* Knowledge of HTM/HBN standards and public-sector project delivery
* Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
* Familiarity with frameworks such as NHS SBS, Pagabo, or similar
* Degree-qualified with a professional accreditation or working toward (RICS, CIOB, APM)
Desirable:
* Experience with modular construction, refurbishments, or decant strategies
* Understanding of BIM, BREEAM, and sustainability/net-zero design
* Chartered status or progressing toward it
