Senior Quantity Surveyor / Estimator – Own Projects. Drive Growth. Lead the Commercial Function.

Location: Sittingbourne, Kent

£65K–£80K + Bonus + Real Progression

I’m recruiting for a Senior Quantity Surveyor role that’s a genuine step up – not just another QS job.

My client is a growing commercial contractor working across Kent and the Southeast. They’re looking for someone who can own the full commercial and estimating function—from cost planning and procurement through to final accounts and strategic input.

What You’ll Be Doing:

* Leading QS and estimating functions across commercial builds and fit-outs

* Producing take-offs, BOQs, valuations, and managing all project costings

* Handling procurement, variations, client comms, and project financials

* Working closely with company leadership to help shape commercial strategy

What You Need to Bring:

* At least 5 years as a Quantity Surveyor (Senior or aspiring)

* Background in commercial construction or civil engineering

* Solid knowledge of JCT or NEC contracts

* Confidence in estimating, cost control, and client-facing delivery

* Hunger to step up, lead, and make an impact
