Company: Tier 1 contractor

Salary: £50,000 – £60,000

The Opportunity:

Regarded as one of the leading employers in the market, this tier 1 contractor has an opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to make a real impact on some of the UK's most high profile and technically complexed projects. You will have full accountability for your projects / packages and given full autonomy to control costs and to ensure projects are delivered efficiently, effectively, profitably and safely.

You will be joining the Major Projects team to work on a £200m+ project in Leicestershire with future projects across the Midlands travel will be minimal and this role will also offer a high level of flexibility. This contractor are very much driven by culture and ensuring all employers have work / life balance.

Key Responsibilities:

Take ownership of subcontract packages and work directly with the Commercial Lead to implement both internal and external tender strategies.
Maximise project cashflow through effective subcontract management.
Drive procurement strategies with a focus on tender inquiries, package reconciliations, and production of subcontract orders.
Manage all aspects of pre and post-contract strategies and reporting
