Role Overview
We are looking for Junior Quantity Surveyors to join a commercial team and support the financial and contractual management of M&E (Mechanical & Electrical) packages within high-end fit-out projects. This is a great opportunity for individuals looking to build their careers in the construction industry, particularly in the luxury interiors sector. You will be involved in a variety of tasks, learning from senior colleagues, and gaining experience in managing budgets, costs, and commercial aspects of M&E projects.
Key Responsibilities (Dependent on Experience)

Assist in preparing cost plans, budgets, and estimates for M&E works
*
Support the procurement of M&E subcontractor and supplier packages
*
Assist with regular valuations, progress claims, and cost reporting
*
Monitor project costs and ensure accuracy and transparency
*
Assist in managing variations and identifying risk factors related to M&E services
*
Work closely with project teams, consultants, engineers, and clients
*
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards
Requirements
*
Degree-qualified or equivalent in Quantity Surveying, Building Services, or a related field
*
Some experience or a strong interest in M&E within construction or fit-out projects
*
Strong commercial awareness and a passion for developing your career in quantity surveying
*
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work within a team
*
Eagerness to learn and grow in a supportive, fast-paced environment
*
Familiarity with building services systems and contracts is a plus
*
Full UK driving licence (preferred)
