Cost Manager / Cost Engineer – Infrastructure
Proven Cost Managers / Cost Engineers, with experience of working on major infrastructure (water, rail, highways, nuclear, energy, airport) programmes, required for long term contract or permanent opportunities in London.
These roles will see you work on a major infrastructure programme which will have a positive impact on communities and the UK economy.
Key Responsibilities:
Tracking costs on this major programme
Validating costs submitted by contractors against actual spend
Ensuring accurate cost management and control throughout the project lifecycle
Preparing detailed financial reports and cost forecasts
Collaborating with project teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment on financial matters
Identifying and managing cost-related risks and opportunities
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date cost documentation and records
Providing financial insights and recommendations to support project decision-making
Job Requirements:
Significant experience in cost management within the infrastructure sector (Energy, Highways, Nuclear, Water, Rail)
Ideally, experience with rail infrastructure projects
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Proficiency in cost management software and financial reporting tools
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Understanding of project management methodologies and principles
Relevant degree or professional qualification in cost management or related field
