About the Role
We are currently seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic and growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of challenging and technically complex construction projects, focusing on structural alterations and specialist construction works across the UK.
The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting our commercial and site teams to ensure projects are delivered efficiently, profitably, and to the highest standards of safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage all aspects of the commercial function on construction projects from inception to completion
* Prepare and manage project budgets, cost forecasts, and financial reports
* Conduct valuations, variations, and final accounts
* Liaise with clients, contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers
* Provide support and advice to project teams on contractual and commercial matters
* Monitor and control project costs to maximize profitability
* Ensure compliance with health & safety standards and internal procedures
* Support procurement and tendering processes
About You
* Proven experience in a Quantity Surveyor role within the construction industry
* Strong knowledge of construction contracts and cost control
* Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
* Comfortable managing multiple projects and deadlines
* Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related field (or equivalent experience)
* Experience in structural, groundworks, or demolition projects is a strong advantage
