Location: London/Kent (Primarily field-based, with one day per week at the Dartford office)
Salary: Up to £50,000 (Depending on Experience) + Benefits, Training, Pension
Hours: Full-Time, Permanent | Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm

About the Role:

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced and detail-oriented Estimator to join a growing Facilities Maintenance company. You’ll play a key role in delivering accurate, competitive estimates and supporting the business's continued success across a range of commercial projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates based on project specifications, drawings, and documentation

Analyse project requirements to assess labour, material, and equipment needs

*

Liaise with clients during site visits and meetings to clarify scope and expectations

*

Conduct market research to source up-to-date pricing from suppliers and subcontractors

*

Collaborate with internal teams to support budget creation and project timelines

*

Monitor active projects to ensure costs align with initial estimates and flag savings opportunities

*

Maintain comprehensive records of all estimates, updates, and client communications

*

Ensure all estimates comply with client standards, health and safety, and legal requirements

What We’re Looking For:

We’re seeking a motivated professional with strong estimating experience within Facilities Management, Property Maintenance, or Construction-related services. You may already be working as an Estimator or come from a technical background with deep cost-assessment knowledge.

This is a client-facing role that requires clear communication, strong attention to detail, and a consultative approach to cost planning.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

Proven experience in estimating, preferably within FM, M&E, or building maintenance sectors

Excellent analytical and numerical skills

Personable and confident in client meetings and on-site discussions

Organised and efficient in managing workload and documentation

Strong IT skills, including Excel, Word, and Outlook

A proactive, self-motivated approach with a focus on accuracy and reliability
