I've got an exciting opportunity to work with a fantastic contractor who specalises in commercial fit-out projects. With a turnover of £5m, my client is looking to expand its operations and client base and bring in new clients for 2026.

About the role:

We're looking for a proactive and results-driven individual to identify and secure new business opportunities, driving growth across commercial fit-out projects. You’ll engage with landlords, property agents, architects, and project management teams to generate high-quality leads and build strong industry relationships. Leveraging market insights, structured lead generation strategies, and various marketing channels, you’ll position the business as the go-to partner for upcoming projects. This role requires excellent networking skills, a strong understanding of the commercial fit-out landscape, and the ability to convert opportunities into long-term partnerships. You'll manage a qualified pipeline, maintain a robust CRM, and represent the company with professionalism and integrity at every touchpoint.

Requirements:

Proven experience in business development within the design and build or commercial fit-out sector

Strong network of industry contacts, including landlords, agents, and project stakeholders

Track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets

Skilled in client-facing sales, account management, and professional networking

Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities, with strong influencing skills

Commercially aware with the ability to assess and act on market opportunities

Adaptable and client-focused, with a tailored approach to different stakeholders
