Mechanical Project Manager – Leading M&E Contractor – Central London

We are proud to be working in partnership with a highly regarded Mechanical & Electrical Building Services Contractor, based in the heart of London. Specialising in commercial and office fit-out projects, they provide full M&E solutions from initial design through to commissioning, with project values ranging from £50k to £4m.

The Opportunity:

Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of prestigious projects, our client is now looking to appoint an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to join their established and dynamic team.

Role Overview:

As a Mechanical Project Manager, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of mechanical works across a range of commercial fit-out projects. From planning through to handover, you will lead site operations, coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, and ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities:

* Oversee the mechanical delivery of commercial and office fit-out projects

* Manage subcontractors and site teams to ensure safe, efficient execution

* Monitor budgets, project timelines, and quality control

* Collaborate with design, procurement, and commissioning teams

* Maintain regular client communication and manage expectations throughout the project lifecycle

Requirements:

* Proven experience as a Mechanical Project Manager within the M&E or fit-out sector

* Strong understanding of HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical building services

* Excellent leadership and communication skills

* Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively

* Relevant mechanical qualifications (e.g., City & Guilds, NVQ, or mechanical engineering degree)
