Assistant Site Manager

About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Assistant Site Manager to join our team on a traditional build housing development in the St Neots, Cambridgeshire area.. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a highly regarded, independent developer known for quality and attention to detail.

You will play a key role on site, supporting the Site Manager with day-to-day operations to ensure that the project is delivered safely, on time, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with the management of trades and subcontractors on site.

Monitor health and safety compliance.

*

Ensure work is completed to specification and quality standards.

*

Support with scheduling, deliveries, and reporting progress to the Site Manager.

*

Help maintain accurate site records and daily logs.

*

Communicate effectively with stakeholders, suppliers, and the project team.

Requirements:

*

Proven experience as an Assistant Site Manager or similar role in residential construction.

*

Strong understanding of traditional build methods.

*

Excellent organisational and leadership skills.

*

SMSTS or SSSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certification (preferred).

*

Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
