Job Title: Quantity Surveyor – Commercial Fit Out Contractor
Location: Manchester (WFH Flexibility Available)
Salary: £55,000 – £65,000 + Package

Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a leading Commercial Fit Out Contractor delivering high-quality projects across the North of England. The role involves managing the financial and commercial aspects of fit out projects ranging from £100k to £2.5 million. The ideal candidate will be commercially astute, detail-oriented, and able to work both independently and as part of a wider project team.

Key Requirements:
* 5+ years' experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the fit out or construction sector
* Experience managing projects between £100k – £2.5m
* Strong understanding of contracts, commercial reporting, and cost control
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills
* Proficient in project budgeting and financial forecasting
* Comfortable with client-facing responsibilities and working collaboratively with site teams

Responsibilities:
* Preparation and submission of interim valuations and final accounts
* Cost control throughout the project lifecycle
* Management and valuation of variations
* Procurement and negotiation of sub-contract packages
* Site measurement and cost reporting
* Producing monthly CVRs (Cost Value Reconciliations)
* Liaising with clients, subcontractors, and project teams
* Assisting in the preparation and review of contractual documentation
* Ensuring projects are delivered within budget and commercial targets are met
* Supporting project delivery teams with commercial advice and input
