Senior Quantity Surveyor – a leading privately-owned contractor is searching for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their growing commercial team. This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to work on prestigious design and build projects across the region.

Supported by a Managing Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for a £20m 5 storey steel frame building in Oxford, consisting of 189 student accommodation apartments.
Requirements:
– Experience working with a Tier 1 or Tier 2 building contractor
– Experience managing sub-contractor variations
– Experience dealing with / managing final accounts
– Industry related qualification
Key Duties:
– Take-off to building quantities and produce schedules of works
– Formulate Subcontract Tenders
– Chair Pre-let meetings and finalising Subcontract Orders
– Procurement and managing sub-contract packages
– Dealing with variations and valuations
– Production of CVRs

Salary & Package:
– Great basic salary of £75,000 – £85,000

To qualify for the higher rate of pay you must be able to demonstrate a track record as a Senior Quantity Surveyor delivering construction projects ranging from £20m – £100m.
