Senior Site Manager

I am currently recruiting for a Senior Site Manager to lead the day-to-day management of a new build school project in the North East.

Role & Responsibilities:

Oversee all site operations, ensuring works progress in line with program and budget.

Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and site workforce efficiently.

Enforce health and safety standards and ensure compliance with CDM regulations.

Liaise with client representatives, design teams, and local authorities.

Coordinate site logistics, materials delivery, and resource allocation.

Maintain accurate site records, including daily reports and safety documentation.

Monitor quality and ensure adherence to DfE specifications and building regulations.

Identify and resolve site issues proactively to avoid delays.

Candidate Requirements:

Proven experience as a Senior Site Manager within education or public sector projects.

Experience on new build school projects and familiarity with DfE frameworks is essential

Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.

Valid CSCS card, First Aid and SMSTS

Good knowledge of UK construction health and safety legislation.

Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and technical specifications.
