About the Role
As a Building Surveyor focused on valuations, you will support our clients with high-quality professional advice on a range of property types. You will work closely with housing associations, private clients, developers, and investors, delivering accurate, RICS-compliant valuation reports and building surveys across a variety of asset classes.
Key Responsibilities
* Undertake Red Book-compliant residential and commercial property valuations
* Conduct building surveys and provide technical due diligence as needed
* Prepare clear, concise, and accurate valuation reports
* Liaise with lenders, housing providers, and private clients
* Assist with stock condition and reinstatement cost assessments where required
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of valuation methodology, market trends, and compliance standards
* Contribute to business development and client relationship management
About the Requirements
* AssocRICS qualified with a focus on valuation
* Demonstrable experience in residential and/or commercial valuations
* Good working knowledge of RICS Valuation – Global Standards (Red Book)
* Strong analytical, communication, and report-writing skills
* Self-motivated with a high level of professional integrity
* Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel as required
About the Salary
Salary is negotiable depending on the individual and their experience, up to £55,000 per annum. Other benefits include pension scheme, 28 days paid holiday, APC training and development, varied workload and travel expenses
