Hawkes Resourcing Group are working with a market-leading fire protection business, recruiting for an experienced Contracts Manager with strong knowledge of passive fire protection and fire door installation.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established and respected company delivering fire safety solutions across the UK. The successful candidate will take ownership of multiple projects, managing contracts from start to finish, ensuring compliance, quality, and safety throughout.

Do you have what it takes?

* 3+ years of experience in the fire stopping and passive fire protection industry

* Strong technical understanding of fire door systems and regulatory compliance

* Ability to manage teams and coordinate multiple live projects

* Excellent communication and organisational skills

* A proactive, professional, and hands-on approach

Key Responsibilities

* Oversee and manage contracts for fire stopping and fire door installations across various sites

* Coordinate site teams, subcontractors, materials, and logistics to maintain smooth operations

* Conduct site surveys, inspections, and quality checks to ensure compliance with all regulations and manufacturer specifications

* Complete and manage all required RAMS, safety documentation, and CPD records

* Maintain strong communication with clients, suppliers, and internal teams

* Monitor budgets, deadlines, and health & safety performance

* Lead progress meetings and provide regular updates to stakeholders

Requirements

* NVQ Level 3 in Fire Stopping (essential)

* Minimum 3 years of experience in fire protection / fire stopping contracts management

* FIRAS or Q-Mark accreditation (desirable)

* Full, clean UK driving licence (essential)

* Strong knowledge of current building regulations and fire safety legislation

* Excellent time management and attention to detail

* Willingness to travel across the UK, including sites in the Midlands and London
