Our client is a leading industrial main contractor with an impressive track record delivering high-value projects ranging from £10m to £350m. With a strong presence across the Midlands and a commitment to excellence in construction and safety, they are seeking a Senior Health and Safety Manager to oversee multiple sites from their Birmingham base, including occasional national travel.

Senior Health and Safety Manager Roles and Responsibilities
* Lead the development and implementation of health and safety strategies across industrial construction projects.
* Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with legal requirements and company policies.
* Provide expert advice, training, and support to project teams to promote a strong safety culture.
* Investigate incidents and near-misses, preparing detailed reports and recommendations.
* Liaise with external stakeholders including HSE, clients, and subcontractors to maintain best practice standards.
* Monitor and analyse safety performance metrics to drive continuous improvement.

Senior Health and Safety Manager Requirements
* Chartered Membership of IOSH (CMIOSH) is essential.
* Proven experience in a senior health and safety role within the construction or industrial sector.
* Strong knowledge of UK health and safety legislation and its practical application on high-value sites.
* Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
* Willingness to travel to various sites across the Midlands and occasionally nationwide.
* NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent qualification preferred.

Senior Health and Safety Manager Benefits
* Salary £70,000 – £80,000 + Package + Benefits + Discretionary Bonus
