About the Opportunity:

With a 40+ year heritage, our client delivers bespoke landscaping, grounds maintenance, and greening services to a diverse commercial and public-sector clientele.

As they continue to grow, they are now seeking a high-calibre Business Development Manager from a construction or property background, capable of delivering a robust and secure pipeline of new projects through their professional network and market knowledge.

Key Responsibilities of the Business Development Manager:

Identify and convert new opportunities, leveraging your background in construction or property to unlock high-value contracts.
Build strategic relationships with developers, Tier 1 contractors, property consultancies, and estate managers.
Develop and execute sales plans to generate a consistent flow of commercial and large-scale landscaping opportunities.
Act as the trusted face of the company in client meetings, tenders, and networking events.
Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and potential partnerships to inform commercial strategy.
Work closely with pre-construction and delivery teams to align solutions with client needs and ensure seamless handover.
Maintain clear records of opportunities, leads, and outcomes to track performance and future growth. What We’re Looking For in a Business Development Manager

A construction or property development background is essential, with a strong professional network and proven track record of bringing in new business.
Demonstrated success as a Business Development Manager or similar role, ideally within landscaping, grounds maintenance, or a construction-related discipline.
Existing connections within Tier 1 contractors, consultants, or developers that can generate long-term revenue opportunities.
A polished, confident communicator with strong presentation and negotiation skills.
Able to identify profitable work, shape winning bids, and understand project financials.
