Job Title: Civil Site Manager
Location: Maidstone, Kent
Salary: £45,000 – £60,000 per annum

About the Role:

We are seeking experienced and proactive Site Managers to lead and manage civil engineering projects in and around Maidstone, Kent. You will be responsible for ensuring projects run safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, organise, and oversee day-to-day site activities

*

Manage subcontractors, plant operators, and site labor

*

Ensure strict compliance with health and safety regulations

*

Monitor project progress and deliver regular reports to clients and senior management

*

Manage resources, equipment, and materials efficiently

*

Resolve on-site issues promptly to avoid delays

*

Maintain accurate site documentation and records

Requirements:

*

Valid CSCS Gold Manager Card

*

SMSTS Certification (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) – essential

*

Proven experience managing civil engineering sites

*

Relevant construction qualification (HNC/HND/Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent) preferred

*

Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

*

Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines

*

First Aid qualification is an advantage
