Job Title: Earthworks Supervisor.
 Location: Cambridgeshire/ Bedfordshire 
 Salary: £20.50 per hour for the first 39 hours | Time and a half for any additional hours

Based in Cambridgeshire/ Bedfordshire area, this role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to essential infrastructure improvements, positively impacting local communities and commuters alike.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise a team of groundworkers and machine operatives, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant execution of earthworks activities.
Oversee excavation, filling, and compaction operations, applying best practices and maintaining compliance with environmental and safety standards.
Manage on-site resources including plant, machinery, and materials, to optimize productivity and project efficiency.
Coordinate effectively with subcontractors and internal teams to maintain workflow and meet project timelines.
Uphold and promote a strong safety culture, ensuring all work meets the highest safety standards and regulatory requirements.
Maintain rigorous quality control and deliver work to the highest specification, ensuring project success from start to finish.

What We're Looking For:

Demonstrated experience as an Earthworks Supervisor, ideally on highway or road construction projects.
Succesful candidates will hold an SSSTS and CSCS Gold
Strong technical knowledge of earthworks processes, soil behaviour, and construction materials.
Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate, manage, and coordinate teams effectively.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to achieving project objectives.
A safety-first mindset with a track record of implementing and maintaining industry-leading safety standards.
