Registered Building Inspector – M1 corridor

Our client, an established company in the Building Control sector, is currently seeking a Registered Building Inspector to join their team, covering projects along the M1 corridor. This permanent role focuses predominantly on commercial projects with additional opportunities to work on residential schemes as well.

Key Responsibilities:

Conducting site inspections to ensure compliance with building regulations and standards
Assessing plans, specifications, and building work
Providing expert advice to clients and stakeholders
Monitoring construction projects throughout their lifecycle
Preparing detailed reports and maintaining accurate records
Liaising with contractors, architects, and other professionals to facilitate project success
Identifying and resolving building control issues in a timely manner
Ensuring health and safety compliance on all projects

Job Requirements:

Experience in building control, particularly within commercial projects
Strong understanding of building regulations and compliance requirements
Ability to assess and inspect a variety of building projects
Level 2D certification or equivalent qualification
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects effectively
Valid UK driving licence for site visits along the M1 corridor
