Compliance Auditor – National Role
Location: Any Central UK (travel required)
Salary: £50,000 – £60,000 + comprehensive package
Contract: Full-time, permanent

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a knowledgeable and proactive Compliance Auditor to join a well-established Principal Contractor operating nationally across a variety of sectors.

This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in Health, Safety, Environment and Quality (HSEQ), audit processes, and business management systems. You'll play a key role in driving continuous improvement, maintaining compliance with ISO standards, and promoting a culture of best practice throughout the business.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct audits across multiple sites, ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, legislation, and client requirements

*

Provide clear advice on business management system improvements and compliance actions

*

Support the maintenance and achievement of ISO certifications (9001, 14001, 45001, and ideally 27001)

*

Carry out root cause analysis and drive preventative action

*

Promote behavioural safety initiatives and support training delivery across the business

*

Maintain up-to-date records of risk assessments, audits, and compliance activities

*

Lead by example in fostering a culture of safety and quality

What We’re Looking For:

*

Experience working with or for a Principal Contractor

*

Strong understanding of HSEQ legislation, codes of practice, and business systems

*

NEBOSH Health & Safety qualification

*

CQI Practitioner level (minimum)

*

ISO Lead Auditor certifications (9001, 14001, 45001). 27001 would be a plus

*

Confident communicator, adaptable and able to work at all business levels

*

Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel nationwide
