Are you a driven MEP Quantity Surveyor with a passion for detail and quality? Our client — a leading Main Contractor specialising in CAT A & CAT B commercial office fit-outs and luxury residential developments — is looking for a skilled professional to join their expanding team.

🔧 Role Overview:

In this pivotal role, you will oversee the commercial and contractual management of mechanical, electrical, and public health (MEP) packages across a variety of high-spec projects in Central London and surrounding areas. Working closely with project and design teams, you will help ensure financial control and performance from procurement through to final account.

🔍 Key Responsibilities:

Manage and evaluate MEP packages, including tender analysis and subcontractor procurement

*

Track project costs, prepare valuations, and manage applications for payment

*

Liaise with suppliers, consultants, and internal stakeholders to deliver high-quality outcomes

*

Prepare cost reports, cash flow forecasts, and final accounts

*

Ensure full compliance with contract terms and relevant industry standards

*

Deliver value engineering solutions without compromising design or quality

✅ Requirements:

*

Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related field

*

3–5+ years of experience in an MEP QS role, ideally with a main contractor

*

Strong background in commercial fit-out and/or high-end residential projects

*

Knowledge of standard contract forms (JCT, D&B, etc.)

*

Proactive mindset with strong attention to detail and commercial awareness

*

Confident communicator able to work collaboratively with design and delivery teams
