Site manager

My client are a top UK based construction and civil engineering contractor. Operating nationwide, delivering schemes within the energy ,transport/ infrastructure and aviation. They are looking to onboard a site manager to help deliver a new project being delivered in the North East.

Site manager responsibilities:

* Implementing and monitoring health, safety, quality, and environmental (SHEQ) standards to ensure compliance with water industry regulations.

* Leading and managing site-based teams and subcontractors to drive operational excellence.

* Delivering projects within budget and agreed timelines while proactively managing risks and programme adjustments.

* Contributing to P6 planning during the design stage and ensuring site lookaheads maximise efficiency.

* Collaborating on the Construction Phase Plan using digital platforms to streamline operations

* Reviewing and ensuring compliance with contract documentation

* Providing accurate and timely weekly and monthly SHEQ reports.

Site manager requirements:

* Relevant CSCS management card.

* SEATS (Site Environmental Awareness Training Scheme) or an equivalent internal course.

* Strong commercial and contractual awareness.

* In-depth knowledge of SHEQ, industry regulations, and legal requirements.

* Proven experience managing subcontractors, supervisors, and on-site teams.
