Estimator – a leading privately-owned contractor is searching for an Estimator to join their growing pre-construction team. This is an excellent opportunity for an Estimator to play a pivotal role in securing and shaping future projects major design and build projects across the West Midlands.

Requirements:
– A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar estimating role.
– Proven track record of pricing D&B and traditional build projects.
– Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
– Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
– Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., Conquest, Causeway, or similar).
Key Duties:
– Lead the preparation of tenders, cost plans, and budgets.
– Analyse drawings, specifications, and other documentation to prepare comprehensive estimates.
– Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive quotations.
– Work collaboratively with the design, planning, and delivery teams to ensure alignment of cost and programme.
Salary & Package:
– Great basic salary of £50,000 – £70,000
– Company car allowance (£6,500)
– Performance related bonus
– Pension & Healthcare
To qualify for the higher rate of pay you must be able to demonstrate a track record as an Estimator tendering projects ranging from £10m and above.
