Job Title: Site Manager – Roofing and Cladding
Location: London (Preferably North London)
Salary: £55,000 – £60,000 per annum
Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Role Overview:
Due to continued growth, our client is seeking an experienced Site Manager with a strong background in roofing systems and site operations to join their team. The ideal candidate will be based in London (ideally North London) and possess extensive practical and managerial experience within the roofing and cladding industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage daily site operations across various roofing and cladding projects
Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety
Supervise and coordinate subcontractors, trades, and suppliers on site
Liaise effectively with Project Managers, Contracts Managers, and clients to report progress and resolve issues
Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety regulations, including site setup and ongoing monitoring
Maintain accurate site records, including progress reports, RAMS, and daily diaries
Identify potential risks and implement proactive measures to mitigate them
Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with design specifications and industry standards
Requirements:
SMSTS certification (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) – essential
Proven experience as a Site Manager within the roofing industry – essential
Extensive knowledge of a variety of roofing systems and construction practices
Strong understanding of Health & Safety legislation and site compliance requirements
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to lead, manage, and motivate subcontractors and on-site personnel
Highly organised with the ability to multitask and work under pressure
Full UK driving licence – desirable
