Think Recruitment are working in partnership with a well-established commercial fit-out and refurbishment company that is seeking an ambitious Graduate Project Manager to join their growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate looking to gain hands-on experience and develop within a supportive and dynamic environment.
About the Role:
As a Graduate Project Manager, you will work closely with the experienced Project Managers / Contracts Managers and shadow them on various stages of project delivery. You'll be introduced to all aspects of managing commercial fit-out and refurbishment projects, learning about client relations, compliance, and day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Shadow Contracts Managers and assist with the management of commercial fit-out and refurbishment projects.
Attend and participate in client meetings, developing communication and presentation skills.
Take photographs on-site for progress documentation and reporting.
Support with compliance and safety checks, ensuring adherence to industry regulations and company policies.
Assist in project planning, scheduling, and coordination, ensuring smooth delivery.
Learn how to manage site teams, contractors, and suppliers effectively.
Skills & Experience:
A degree in Project Management, Construction Management, or a related field is essential.
Strong communication skills with the ability to engage with clients, contractors, and internal teams.
Enthusiasm for learning and development in a fast-paced, project-driven environment.
Organisational skills with a proactive approach to tasks.
An interest in compliance and industry standards.
Full driving license would be beneficial for site visits.
